Mayfair Gallery
Once the site of the annual “May Fair” on the outskirts of London, Mayfair developed during the 18th century into an area of planned squares and elegant townhouses. Today it remains one of London’s most historically significant districts, known for its well-preserved Georgian architecture, proximity to Hyde Park, and enduring status as a centre of commerce and culture. These watercolours record the district’s changing face, reflecting both its architectural heritage and its continuing role at the heart of the city.
