No known as teh Chesterfield Arms. The pub has a rich history, once serving as a haunt for RAF Fighter Command during WWII. Its recent refurbishment has restored much of its original character, featuring classic parquet flooring, original mouldings, and warm mahogany tones.

Whats in a name? The building has been a pub since 1737, making it the oldest in Shepherd Market. It has had several names, including the Ducking Pond, Dog & Duck, Crown, and New Chesterfield Arms before becoming Shepherd’s Tavern and then returning to its original name
