A beautiful square and door leading to a flat which is part of rock and roll history due to two famous deaths in the same bedroom.
 
 1 Curzon Square—in Mayfair, London. It was the London flat of American singer-songwriter Harry Nilsson, who lent it to Cass Elliot (“Mama Cass”) while she was appearing at the London Palladium.
 
Cass Elliot died there on 29 July 1974, aged 32. The persistent story that she choked on a ham sandwich is false: the post-mortem recorded a heart attack, with no drugs found in her system; the sandwich was reportedly untouched beside the bed.
 
Keith Moon, drummer of the Who, died in the same flat—and reportedly the same bedroom—on 7 September 1978, also aged 32. His death resulted from an overdose of clomethiazole, medication prescribed in connection with alcohol withdrawal.
