San Clemente Palace Kempinski is a luxury hotel on its own island in the Venetian lagoon, reached by boat and set among gardens, courtyards, and historic monastery buildings. San Clemente Island, about a 10-minute boat ride from St Mark’s Square, and is described as having 17-plus acres of grounds with a 12th-century church on site.
