Trellick Tower is a Grade II* listed tower block located on the Cheltenham Estate in Kensal Town, London, completed in 1972. It was designed by Hungarian architect Ernő Goldfinger in the Brutalist style as a form of social housing commissioned by the Greater London Council. The 31-story tower stands 322 feet tall and was inspired by Le Corbusier’s modernist principles.

The separate stair tower ingeniously contains the boiler room at the top. This reduces the flue length and keeps vibrations away from residents.

Interesting fact..

I actually produced the historic study on this building many years ago.
