Roseate House London is a luxury boutique hotel set in three Grade II-listed Victorian townhouses on Westbourne Terrace, a tree-lined street just off Hyde Park and a short walk from Paddington Station.
 
It occupies three adjoining Grade II-listed townhouses at 3–5 Westbourne Terrace, built in 1842 as part of the grand, stuccoed terraces that defined this corner of Tyburnia in the mid‑Victorian era.  The street was laid out to embody imperial ambition and classical taste. It's all white stucco façades, Doric columns, balustraded balconies, and tall London plane trees planted with “posterity” in mind. One of West London's finest streets.
 
Interesting facts...
The hotel has a bottle of Old  whisky distilled in spring 1916 and bottled in autumn 1933 during America’s Prohibition, labelled “Strictly for Medicinal Purposes Only.” Its from this period we get the joke, often stated,  when we take a drink we know we shouldn't
