The Jardins du Trocadéro lie on the hill opposite the Eiffel Tower, offering one of the best views of the monument. Their formal lawns, fountains and statues create a grand approach to the tower.

The gardens were laid out for the 1937 Exposition Internationale and have since become a favourite spot for photographers and picnickers.
