The oldest place to smoke
James J Fox first opened its doors in 1787. Still owned and run by the fox family it sells the finest tobacco and smoking accessories. Sir Winston Churchill, Oscar Wilde, British and Foreign Royalty have all shopped here. Downstairs you will find one of London’s hidden museums all about smoking. Look out for the Churchill’s box of cigars donated to the museum after his death. Upstairs you can actually smoke your purchase in their lounge, one of the few commercial places you can still smoke indoors
