The Hello Darling restaurant occupied 131 Waterloo Road in Waterloo, a building that was demolished in 2024 as part of The Old Vic theatre’s expansion project.

Previously it was a pub. The pub had landlords dating back to 1839 (Henry Davies), with records showing continuous on through the 19th century. Samuel George Benton was tenant from 1954–1964 after the WWII reopening.

Interesting facts.,..

Hello Darling was created by set designers Darling and Edge and Masterchef 2013 winner Natalie Coleman, described as a “playful restaurant and botanical bar” with “dreamy interiors” and art-filled spaces.
