107 Charing Cross Road in London is the former Central Saint Martins School of Art building, now home to Foyles, the UK’s largest bookshop.
The area is historically significant as Charing Cross Road has been London’s book trade hub, and the street also housed the London Astoria music venue (demolished 2009) and another St Martin’s Arts College site opening in 1939.
Interesting facts...
The Sex Pistoils gave their first ever performance in this building in November 1976.
