Apsley House, at Hyde Park Corner, was the London home of the 1st Duke of Wellington after his victory at Waterloo. Its grand classical façade and position at the edge of Hyde Park mark it as a residence of national importance.

The house contains important works of art given to Wellington in gratitude for his military successes, and is sometimes called "Number One, London".
