Watercolour of one of the coolest places.

The Chelsea Registry Office, officially known as the Kensington and Chelsea Register Office, is located in Chelsea Old Town Hall on King’s Road, Chelsea, London. It is a historic and stylish venue for registering births, deaths, marriages, and civil partnerships.

The office is famous for hosting weddings of many notable people and is considered one of the “hippest places to get married”

Interesting facts...

The building is a blend of old and new. The 1908 neoclassical frontage by Leonard Stokes was grafted onto the earlier 1887 vestry hall by J.M. Brydon. If you walk around to Chelsea Manor Gardens, you can still see the original rear section, which looks unexpectedly grand for the back of a municipal building
