Boodle's is a gentlemen's club at 28 St James's Street. It was founded in January 1762 by Lord Shelburne, who later became Prime Minister and then 1st Marquess of Lansdowne. It has a rich history of hosting famous members, such as Winston Churchill, Ian Fleming, and David Niven.

The club was named after its original head waiter, Edward Boodle, who was known for his impeccable service and discretion.

It is said the club has a secret tunnel that connects it to the nearby White's Club, which was used during World War II to evacuate members in case of a bombing raid. I assume they could keep gambling that way!
