Westminster Bridge is one of those iconic scenes of London which changes dramatically with the weather. Perhaps the most photographed building, it creates a striking silhouette against a changing sky.
It rarely snows in London, but when it does it is worth a walk over the bridge to see the Houses of Parliament shimmer in the falling snow.
 
Interesting facts...
The current bridge, built in 1862, replaced an earlier one from 1750. Its distinctive green colour matches the benches in the House of Commons, while Lambeth Bridge's red matches the Lords.
