Watercolour illustration of Two Temple Place. Two Temple Place is a neo-Gothic Victorian mansion in central London, built in 1895 by architect John Loughborough Pearson for William Waldorf Astor, a wealthy American who emigrated to England. It was originally Astor’s estate office and included residential space, designed lavishly with intricate carvings, stained glass, and ornate interiors reflecting Astor’s interests and wealth.

The interior is amazing with intricate carvings.

Interesting fact...

It was built without a spending limit by William Waldorf Astor, who was arguably the richest man in the world at the time. The building also features two cherubs playing with one of the first telephones installed in a London home, symbolizing Astor’s embrace of modern technology
