Interesting facts....
The first Punch and Judy show happened at Covent Garden in 1662. The show was witnessed and documented by the famous diarist Samuel Pepys. A commemorative stone plaque honoring this historic event is displayed on the outside wall of St Paul’s Church, located opposite the pub.
