The Montauk Club is a private social club located in Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York, not Manhattan. Founded in 1889, it is housed in a Venetian Gothic-style building designed by Francis H. Kimball, inspired by the Palazzo Santa Sofia (Ca’ d’Oro) in Venice. It features terra cotta faces and friezes that reference the Montauk Native American tribe, after whom the club is named
