The Leys School is a leading co-educational private boarding and day school located in the centre of Cambridge, England. Founded in 1875. The school is recognized as Cambridgeshire’s chief example of public school architectural tradition, combining historic villas, Edwardian buildings, and new facilities within a landscaped campus.
The Memorial Chapel, designed by Robert Curwen, is built in the Gothic style to complement surrounding buildings. It features oak woodwork, a roof with elaborate tracery inspired by Westminster Hall, and a marble floor. The chapel’s stained glass windows were modeled after those in King’s College Chapel but are simpler, in line with the school’s Methodist ethos
