The Dove is a historic riverside pub at 19 Upper Mall, Hammersmith. It's known for its beautiful setting on the Thames and the smallest bar room in the world which can only hold three people. The national anthem 'Rule Britannia' was written here. So much history, legends and secrets are associated with the place.

Interesting facts....

William Morris, arts and crafts pioneer, lived just next door, and it’s thought he and his circle regularly frequented the pub. Notables including Graham Greene, Ernest Hemingway, and Dylan Thomas are all said to have drunk here.

Contrary to repeated guidebook claims, Charles II and Nell Gwyn could not have visited as the pub post-dates their era—though the tale is a stubborn part of its folklore.
