Lupton’s Tower is a prominent historic gatehouse tower at Eton College, Berkshire. Built between 1517 and 1520, it forms part of Lupton’s Range, which also includes the Provost’s Lodge and the Election Hall. The tower is notable for its embattled (battlemented) design and its clock, which faces onto the central School Yard, the main quadrangle of the college. It is the most memorable view of the school.

There is a secret door hidden behind a bookcase inside the tower. The walls are covered in graffiti left over hundreds of years. The poet Percy Bysshe Shelley famously wrote his graffiti in lowercase letters, defying the tradition of capital letters
