Rio de San Cassiano is a canal in Venice’s Santa Croce district, near the historic San Cassiano area and not far from the Rialto side of the city. It’s also commonly written as Rio di San Cassiano.

The canal runs through the San Cassiano neighbourhood, in the Santa Croce sestiere, and is part of the dense network of small Venetian waterways. It’s close to Hotel San Cassiano, the Rialto market area, and the bridge connections in that part of Venice. It is everyday Venice rather than a major tourist landmark: narrow canal, old façades, small bridges, and local foot traffic - perfect!
