The building, inspired by Beaux-Arts architecture, was designed to evoke the elegance of 19th-century townhouses, featuring a symmetrical façade of Indiana limestone, arched entryways, a balustraded terrace, high ceilings, a sweeping staircase, and Turkish marble floors.
