Watercolour of the Garden Shed at Petersham. Petersham Nurseries in Richmond is a pretty uniqueplace combining a garden centre, a Michelin Green Star-awarded restaurant, and a teahouse, all set within a beautiful greenhouse filled with plants like bougainvillea and jasmine.
 
The nursery and restaurant are located on land that was once part of the Boglione family’s Queen Anne home grounds, which they moved to in 1997. The nursery reopened in 2004 and expanded. 
The several glasshouses are really worth a visit just to see.
 
Interesting facts..
The nursery’s location is surrounded by National Trust meadowland with grazing cows and has inspired many artists since the 17th century, contributing to its bucolic and timeless atmosphere
