Interesting facts...

A replica of the Venetian Rialto Bridge sits inside. This indoor bridge spans the Members’ Room (formerly the library) and was designed by Sir John Belcher, who was living in Venice at the time and was inspired by Italian architecture. It is said to be possibly the only indoor bridge of its kind in the UK and is a distinctive architectural feature of the building
