Lincoln College, Oxford is a medieval college located on Turl Street in central Oxford. Founded in 1427 by Bishop Richard Fleming, Lincoln preserves more of its original 15th-century character than almost any other Oxford college, with stone buildings.
It also has an impressive list of Alumni, Including John Wesley (Methodist founder), John Radcliffe (physician), Howard Florey (antibiotics pioneer), John le Carré (novelist), Dr. Seuss (Theodor Geisel), former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
Lots of interesting myths...
Alleged connections with intelligence and espionage (inspired by past rectors with rumored intelligence ties and John le Carré’s literary imagination), though these could all be just stories.
