Château de Garde is a 18th‑century country house and wine‑estate venue in the Bordeaux wine region of southwest France, used today for weddings, holidays, and corporate events.

The estate lies in the Bordeaux vineyards, roughly half an hour by road from Bordeaux city and within a short drive of the UNESCO‑listed village and wine area of Saint‑Émilion.

It sits among its own vines and landscaped grounds, giving long views over surrounding countryside typical of the right‑bank Bordeaux terroir.

Interesting facts....

The “de Garde” toponym in southwest France usually refers to a lookout or watch‑point, hinting that the original house occupied a site with a strategic view over surrounding land rather than a purely decorative position.
