Campion Hall is a Jesuit permanent private hall at the University of Oxford. It is one of only four permanent private halls at Oxford. Founded in 1896 by the Society of Jesus, Campion Hall reflects both Oxford’s traditions and the Jesuit educational approach.

The Hall is named after St Edmund Campion, a Jesuit priest and martyr, who operated a secret press at Stonor Park near Oxford. This press printed anti-Elizabethan pamphlets, including ‘Decem Rationes’, criticizing the Church of England, which were secretly distributed and became infamous when copies appeared in Oxford.

Interesting facts...

The hall also has a collection of books related to Edmund Campion. Also a set of plates celebrating Edward VIII coronation, although he was never coronated (if thats a word!)
