Botleys Mansion is a grand Palladian country house near Chertsey in Surrey, England. Palladian was popular, during the 18th‑century comprising of classical symmetry and grand façades inspired by the work and writings of Andrea Palladio.

 

Botleys Mansion has a surprisingly layered past: beneath the romantic wedding‑venue surface is a site tied to a dissolved abbey, royal land seizures, and decades as a psychiatric “colony” hospital.

 

Interesting facts.

It has passed through many owners but named after the De Butteley who were the medeavil owners. Iteven passed through Henry VIII
