Billingsgate Fish Market, once the world’s largest fish market in the 19th century. This original fish market building, constructed around 1875, ceased operating as a fish market in 1982 when the fish market was relocated to a new site in Poplar, East London. Today, the Old Billingsgate building is no longer a fish market but has been transformed into a hospitality and events venue that hosts exhibitions, dinners, and other events. It remains a notable Grade II listed London landmark
