Christ Church, Hampstead is the Church of England parish church for the area just northeast of Hampstead village, near the Heath, and the present building was erected between 1850 and 1852 to designs by Samuel Daukes in the Early English Gothic style.

Christ Church, Hampstead was built in 1850–52 as a replacement for an older chapel on Well Walk that had become overcrowded. The present church was designed by Samuel Daukes in the Early English Gothic style, and it quickly became the parish church for the northeastern part of Hampstead and the Heath.

In 1860, Sir Gilbert Scott, who worshipped there, added a timber gallery; it was later removed in the 1960s. A north porch and aisle were added in 1881–82, designed by Ewan Christian.
